The South of Costa Rica is served by national roads, daily local flights from the two major international airports in the country, and as an ideal site for a potential marina, it can be a hub for the boating community.

The property is under 10 minutes away from the local airport on boat and under 20 minutes on land. A heliport license exists for the property, and the marina would have additional piers for non-permanent boats– roughly 150 slips.

Golfito Bay is the most naturally protected port in Central America, completely encased by natural barriers which result in calm waters all year round. Its name literally explains its privileged position: a small gulf within a larger one! This key factor has made the area the virtually exclusive destination on the Pacific Coast for all yacht transport companies.

The marina has all required permits (CIMAT). It includes a master plan for a small hotel, a restaurant, apartments for crew members and other leisure areas.

The bay is inside a natural reserve and the property has 3km of bay front, where you can practice world-class fishing. The Osa Peninsula lies across the water and has been described by National Geographic as one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth.
