Accommodations
There are 8 spacious one-bedroom deluxe beachfront bures (bungalows) with king sized bed or 2 king single beds.
All bures are crafted in traditional Fijian style with thatched roofs, high ceilings and louvre shutters that allow the refreshing ocean breeze in.
Although traditionally built, all bures are equipped with modern and contemporary furnishings and fittings for your every comfort including air-conditioning, ceiling fans, refrigerator, hair dryer, a room safe for your valuables, and tea & coffee making facilities.
The artistically designed private en-suite bathroom features a small garden which allows outdoor natural light into the bathroom. There is a separate shower, toilet and vanity area with Pure Fiji toiletries.
Each bure also has a comfortable lounge area with sofas and a coffee table, plus a large, well-appointed balcony overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
Deluxe Executive Beachfront Bures
Two king sized beds, or one king sized bed and two king single beds or four king single beds
There are 3 Deluxe Executive Beachfront bures which can accommodate up to 4 people in one large room separated by a privacy screen. These bures have 2 king sized beds, or 1 king sized bed and 2 king single beds or 4 king single beds.

The cuisine at Viwa is Pacific Rim and designed to excite your taste buds as well as cater to all dietary needs. Our fruits and vegetables are organic and most are grown at the resort. Seafood is in abundance and caught daily by our village fishermen. The menu changes daily to offer plenty of variety.
Rai Ki Wasa Terrace is our sea view restaurant overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. You can have you meals in the restaurant or on the Terrace under the stars or a romantic dinner set up on the beach for special occasions. The bar which is located right here at Rai Ki Wasa Terrace is perfect for those pre dinner drinks or a refreshing cocktail during the day.
Our tariff includes a full cooked breakfast and you can also purchase a meal plan prior to arrival onto the island.
Activities
Diving
There are numerous best of Fiji diving sites around Viwa. The Resort operates its own PADI dive operation, and you can have access to one or more of these rarely visited havens with our PADI IDC Dive Instructor.
A 5-15 minute boat ride is all it takes and you will be amazed by the variety of aquatic life on offer just around Viwa Island. Please ask our staff for details and charges.
Game Fishing
Our complimentary daily hand-line fishing trip is guests’ all-time favourite. You would be very surprised and excited at the size and quantity of the fish caught on hand-lines; plus our Chef can prepare your catch of the day for your lunch the very next day.
If you are looking for the big fish the like of Yellow Fin Tuna, Barracuda, Spanish Mackeral and Mahi Mahi, some deep sea fishing sites are just 30 minutes away from the Resort by boat. Please ask our staff for details and charges.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is a very popular and the advantage is that you can swim straight off the beach out to the edge of the reef where you will see a myriad of colourful fish and coral. Snorkels, masks and fins are all provided complimentary.
You can also go on a snorkeling safari with the Dive Instructor to explore the fascinating marine habitats. Please ask our staff for details and charges.
Sports and Games
The crystal clear waters make for great paddling, and kayaks are provided complimentary for your enjoyment. Why not challenge our staff to a game of table tennis, a very popular game amongst them. Beach games such as Petanque and beach volley ball are played regularly; so why not join the fun where you will find Fiji versus the World daily!
Village Visits
We pay regular visits to a village called Naibalebale. It is one of the few remaining traditional Fijian villages, located right beside the Resort. Many of Viwa staff is from this village so it is a nice opportunity to know more about where our hospitality comes from.
Cultural Activites
On Viwa Island, there is never a lack of cultural activities for you to participate in. Hat and basket weaving, sulu tying lessons, coconut husking and our history hike are available for an authentic Fijian experience.
Entertainment
After an enjoyable day of doing as little or as much as you want, you can look forward to a night of fun. The island’s string band plays nightly and they have a very wide repertoire of songs for you to sing along and dance to.
