Kings Paradise Island is located at Barangay Panitian, Municipality of Sofronio Española, Palawan.
Getting there: From Manila, it takes only one hour to reach the Puerto Princesa City of Palawan. An approximately 90-minute ride will get you right to the shore where you can transfer into a speedboat and reach Kings Paradise Island in just 7 minutes.
This beautiful island is one of the only islands with private title in the island bay of Española. The island is 26 hectares more or less, with approximately 64 hectares of underwater land surrounding the island. It is under application of Foreshore lease at this moment and can eventually become private title, making the island's total size about 90 hectares.
The whole island is composed of all white sand even down to the bottom of the island and the water surrounding the island is clear and bright blue specially during sunny days.
Highlights:
1. The island comes with private title (please note, foreigners cannot legally own land in the Philippines but long-term lease options / local corporation ownership options are available)
2. The island has fresh water. It is drinkable and it is purified by the coral sand itself.
3. The coral surrounding the whole island is fully mature, under strict preservation control over the past 30 years.
4. The island is the closest one to the Tubbataha reef, less than 4 hours by boat from the world-famous diving site.
5. The 64 hectares of underwater land can easily be reclaimed and eventually titled.
6. The location of the island is in the south part of the province where typhoons are not common.
7. The island also enjoys a more protected location between the Palawan mainland and Mindanao, so dangerous tidal waves are not possible in the area. Palawan is also an earthquake-free province.
