The two islands are a pair and are to be sold together. They are located about 530 meters apart from each other in the calm waters of Dumaran Channel, featuring stunning white sand beaches and a very nice seawall feature between them that houses an active pearl farm.
One of the islands is 57.86 acres in size, with flat to mountainous terrain and elevations ranging from 5 to 50 metres above sea level. The island features almost 4 kilometers of powdery white sand beaches. Approximately 70% of the island has white sand with the remaining covered by mangroves and natural rock formations. The island is planted with a few thousand coconut and fruit bearing trees. The reef area is estimated to be 50 hectares ranging in depth from 12 inches to 15 feet; then this area stretches to another 150 hectares circumference around the entire island. There is abundant marine life as evidenced by existing Pearl Farms directly in front of the island.
The second island is 4.33 acres in size. It is a mostly flat heart-shaped island completely encompassed by powdery white sand. The island features a few hundred coconut and fruit bearing trees; with some coconut trees reaching up to 50 feet high – evidence that a three-storey structure can be easily built on the property.
The islands are just 15-20 minutes from the mainland (by boat) and you can also go to Puerto Princesa by road from there (about 3-5 hours) for shopping, entertainment, airport, etc.
There is at least one seaplane service direct from Manila, with a flight time of about 90 minutes, which can land between the two islands for inspection or normal visits. The plane normally has to go onward to Puerto Princesa to refuel for the turn-around flight to Manila.
Distance from Mainland: 3.3 kilometers from Sta. Teresita pier; From Puerto Princesa: 197.9 kms. (3 hours 11 minutes via Puerto Princesa North Road); From San Vicente: 74.7 kms. (1 hour 35 minutes via Puerto Princesa North Road); From Taytay: 64.7 kms. (1 hour 33 minutes via Puerto Princesa North Road)
Both islands are vacant with caretakers.
